o Picnic & Membership Meeting
Location: Fraternity Snoqualmie
The annual SLUGS Spring Picnic and Membership meeting will be held at
FS again this year. The format for the picnic is again Potluck, with
the club providing soft drinks. We will eat at NOON, and have the
Meeting starting at 2:00 pm. We will elect board members and the
President. NEW this year is a group of door prizes for those attending
the meeting. Grounds fee for FS is the normal "off-season" rate.
Currently $7.00 I believe. You are welcome to use the grounds all day.
NEW THIS YEAR
We'll be having a Door Prize Raffle this year with some exciting items.
So, be sure to check in and pick up your ticket - bring your SLUGS card
for ID if you're not a regular and known to the board members. Some of
the items are:
Raffle - ticket required
One Year's SLUGS Membership
One Year's TNS Membership
TNS Sunglasses
TNS Wrist Wallets
Naturist Society Bumper Stickers
First Aid Kits with SLUGS logo
and for everyone:
TNS “promotional” handout stuff
AANR "temporary Tatoos"
SLUGS Stickers - new logo
Additionally, we are looking for people who want to be involved in
running the club and creating and coordinating SLUGS events. We need
people for the board of directors, people for the Advisory Council to
the board, and people who want to contribute to activities, trips, etc.
We want to hear from you during the meeting on the type of trip you'd
like to see. Some of the things we've been discussing lately involve
chartering a bus to go to a more remote location. We definitely are
also wanting to plan more visits to our local nudist clubs. For
example, there is an upcoming pot luck and dance planned for May 19th
at Lake Bronson. Many of you have not been there - the grounds and
facilities are top notch there, and we've been working closely with
both the Lake Bronson President as well as the new Lake Bronson Club
board. We believe this will be a very successful event. AND - for
anybody that missed the earlier Polar Bare dips, I'd bet that the lake
will still offer a very brisk dip.
